Not as often as I should.

Sugary, when they first cam about (heard this on NPR) they actually had banana cream filling and were more hand made then they are now. They may be no longer because they're bankrupt.

Not that I know of, the ring they were using in the backyard the neighbors called the cops on them and they can no longer wrestle there. Search around maybe they restarted.

Geek possession - my android phone, I don't know if I could live without it. Non-geek possession - a ring my Grandfather used to wear that I now wear.

"Pulp Fiction" is my favorite film of all time. It's because of the non-linear story telling, dialog and it blew me away the first time I saw it. I didn't know movies could be made in such a way.

Lack of independent things, it feels like everything is turning into a Walmart/Chilis. Also, the economy sucks and it seems like the "powers-at-be" still want Rockford to be the Toll and Dye capitol of the world - with isn't going to happen again. I think Rockford's future is in education (the local colleges) and technology (or at least I hope so).
My favorite things are places downtown like Carlyles, Bar3 and others. -
I think it's the illusion of non-conformity. We all want to be our own person and some of the people they put on those t-shirts represent what the person wearing it would really like emulate. So, people are in a sense paying tribute in a way, but they're also feeding a huge system of companies who own the rights to those images. So, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. What are you going to do make your own clothing? I can sew bean bags and maybe hem a pair of pants if I tried, but I wouldn't ever want to wear a shirt I made.
They might also just look cool and be on sale. I got a "Give Peace a Chance" shirt with John Lennon on it and I liked it.
The one t-shirt that I absolutely loath are the ones with Che Guevara them. Try wearing that shirt in Miami where the people he terrorized, tortured and they have murdered family members in Cuban live now. In my book that's the worst t-shirt there is, period.
But what do I know ignorance is bliss right?
