Order I care about them:
Sorry, they're all equally nothing to me! -
USA, Jan 08: LA, Disneyland, New York, Rohde Island, Boston, San Fran, Big Sur :D
-
No worries :) I don't know. I know what house I would love to own - I walk by it every day I catch a tram into the city, it's a large square house with a wrap around balcony surrounded on all sides by a large garden with lots of grass and gardens.
-
Argh! Is this the one question I have on repeat for the rest of my life?
;) -
Ugh, what a depressing thought. It would have to be something that changes, like the news. Or a soap that will exist forever, but that could melt my brain a bit too much.
-
Pizza - it has all the food groups!
-
I have no idea. Probably Mean Girls, because Tina Fey is awesome.
-
Nope. I don't want to be attached to something like that, because then it's devastating if you can't find it. I have a pinkie ring which is a simple gold band which I wear on my right hand a lot of the time, though.

Yes! I *may* have bought my sister Scott Westerfeld books for her birthday so I could read them :P I only read the Uglies series though.
When I got this email saying "someone asked you a question" I just thought, 'well, if anyone is going to make a list of YA books it should be Mel, why doesn't this person ask her?'! I'm not actually sure if I could make a list at the moment, I haven't read any for a while and certainly anything I could think of you would know. Sorry! Perhaps I'll sleep on it.
I've been trying to educate myself in Australian literature, that started around August, so lots of other genres have been pushed aside for the time being! -
IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION. The book I've read the most is To Kill A Mockingbird - I've read that maybe four or five times. The book which most directly influenced the person I am today is The Handmaid's Tale. But I love so many books, from children's books to YA to adult literature to plays to non-fiction works, I don't think I could ever label a single book as my "favourite book of all time."

Mao's Last Dancer. I'm so sad and shocked it hasn't been picked up for international release yet :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ufBNOkTvdQ

Stupid reasons: Bash was the name of a character n the second-to-last play I saw, and Lamb was the name of a character in a book I was reading at that moment. They just popped to mind and I just thought they could suit a dog!
-
I don't, but thank you! You too!
-
Several people call me Janey (or Janie or Janee) which I hate. My best friend sometimes (although not so much any more) calls me Janey-Poo, which oddly I don't mind - but only if it comes from her!
-
I don't know... maybe Bash? or Lamb? I think I'd have to meet the dog first.
-
I went to Fiji when I was 18 months or so and don't remember it, and then I've been to the US twice - once when my mum had a study scholarship and studied in Atlanta and New York and once when my dad went to a conference in Rohde Island. My favourite city was New York City, which we went to both times :D Oh, and I've been to the airport in New Zealand! Hopefully 2011 I'll be able to do a bit of travel and see more of the world.

Kristy in the Baby-Sitters Club. Because she's rad.
-
I don't read many, but probably Madison (some serious, but mainly fluff/clothes/celebrity) or The Monthly (SERIOUS, political cometary and the like).
