That's a very tough question. I wish I could think of some sort of humorous response. If I was given some time to decide I might weigh up whose life had the most to offer, or would be most missed. So if it was me or a friend who has just had a child I might decide I should sacrifice myself. Where as if it was my blind Granny who I haven't seen for over 20 years, I might let her take the guillotine. That's fair isn't it

I wouldn't say I regret giving up blogging, but I do miss it quite often. I am continually on the cusp of starting another one, but I never quite get to doing it.
Two main things hold me back. 1. I am a very private person, and sharing thoughts and stories on the internet doesn't sit too well with me. 2. My interests are varied, but lack depth, so I don't think I'd have a great deal to add / improve upon what exists elsewhere on the web.
Having said all that I have thought about keeping a simple blog for the time being, where I am able to post things that just don't fit within 140 characters. Because as you can see from this answer, brevity is not my strong point. -
The one who worked in an office three hours away, and only visited about twice a month.
