I do, I have a cat. It's a love-hate relationship .... :)

Once upon a time I took piano lessons, and one of my biggest regrets is quitting. In fact, it's something I've been wanting to take up again.

My freshly bathed baby :)

Oh wow, that's a good question! It starts with a fast lens (my favorites are the prime lenses) and then after I set up a shot and check to make sure I have the exposure I want, I always zoom in on the shot on my LCD screen to make sure I have the focus sharp where I want it.

I shoot with a Nikon D90 with a D80 as my back up camera, but I'm dying to upgrade to the D700!

The dress is great, isn't it? I especially love it because it isn't maternity and I can wear it after the baby comes! It's from Down East Basics.

I use a Nikon D90 as my primary camera body with a D80 as my back up (always have a back up!) My favorite lenses are the prime/fixed lenses. I have and love the 35, 50 and 85 mm and use those more than any other lenses.
As far as Canon v. Nikon, I obviously prefer Nikon but that's because I'm comfortable with the Nikon format. I don't believe one shoots superior to the other, so I recommend going with whatever you are most comfortable. -
Haha, I sure did! We called a garage door repair man from the phone book and he happened to be finishing up a job just 5 minutes from our house and was able to get the garage opened and repaired in time for me to leave. It was fantastic.

I learned SO MUCH shooting with Rebekah Westover. She is a master at what she does, but I'd have to say the most important thing I observed while shooting with her is the photographer/client relationship. Rebekah has a way of connecting with her clients that really shows in her work. Everyone loves Rebekah, and she connects so well with her clients.

My least favorite thing: the group photo where they're holding up the bride/groom. Very overdone, in my opinion. My favorite thing to capture is the bride and groom interacting when they don't think anyone is watching. Or when they're laughing together. Love it!

Why is it that the simplest questions are so hard?! I love color in all its variety, and could no sooner choose a favorite star in the heavens (name that movie!) But I am currently loving turquoise and pinks. And yellows. And really... everything.

Very good question! My husband and I have come up with a handful of names that we both somewhat agree on, but nothing solid yet. Naming another human is a lot of pressure!! I wish we could say we had decided on something, but unfortunately I doubt she'll be named until after she's born.
