My first paid photography job I got through google. -
Had to learn lots of things, but learning light - which I still do every day - is probably the trickiest thing.

Bring your camera everywhere. Take tons and tons and tons of photos. And then some.

That I get to do something meaningful.
And that I'm able to work when I want to and do other things when I want to.
And that I get to work with one of my favourite things in the world. Together with one of my best friends.

Totally. Networking is always good. It's so much easier for great people to get in contact with other great people today than before.

I wouldn't go to an open field if it's mid day and sunny. Find a shaded spot with good light.

We deliver 500+ photos from full day weddings. Tough to give an exact number though, as wedding days can be very different.
As for editing, it usually takes us a couple of days after the wedding to edit photos, make albums and put together slideshows and blog posts. -
Primes only. Usually bring a 20mm, 50mm, 85mm and 105mm to weddings.
