They Might Be Giants. I like pretty much all their songs, particularly the older, quirkier stuff like Purple Toupee, I Palindrome I and They'll Need a Crane... but the best part is, they are an absolute treat to see live. I've seen them twice, and it's really a great experience.

I'd be a herm pony, of course! I would have "earth colors" -- probably the base color would be olive green, the tail/mane probably brown with some kind of streaking (more green? lighter/darker brown?). Buttmark would be a straight razor.
