Awww, girl, you so sweet. ♥ No, really. I think you're the only person who uses this. Or, actually, I am. Sorry. YES I WILL BE EXCITED TO FINISH IT TOO CONSIDERING THAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR OVER A YEAR AND IT IS STILL NOT FINISHED AND IS SORT OF BALLS :[

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY YES. I haven’t had a chance to pick up any of Miéville’s books yet, ahem, but I was distressed to hear him whining about CGI like some old Boomeriffic grandpa. I expected him to finish the article by telling me to get offa his lawn! Right now! Damn kids.

I know, right? And that’s not even the only one! There are multiple people making vagina necklaces out of various materials and selling them on Etsy! Because of “feminism”! Betty Friedan, how could you do this to me?

Thank you! My layouts always look better in my head than on the internets.

HEY! WE DO NOT DO IT FOR THE HITS. WE DO IT FOR THE LOVE. When I had all those ridonkulous CLAMP sites, I was getting 3000-4000 hits a week. Now I get a few hundred a month (not bad for a domain that basically features 1 static site, IMO). I am much happier with my page now than I was then. And if I think of all the truly unironically awesome people I’ve met as a result of my silly niche-audience webpage, I am staggered. So, here’s what I propose: You put up a cover with links to your artpages & your blogs, with very simple code (try a template from here to start: http://www.code-sucks.com/css%20layouts/fixed-width-css-layouts/), and I host it for you. Or one of your other online friends does. And we win. AND WE WIN.

People who are great at drawing always tell me that there’s no such thing as natural drawing talent, to which I say: Bullshit. But I’m not trying to be a great artist, no worries. I just want to doodle stylishly. I bought ‘The NEW Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain’ by Betty Edwards, because it was recommended to me by my uncle, who is a professional artist. I won’t be able to start right away, because I need art supplies (things to draw on, things to draw with, etc.) and I don’t see me getting out of the house in this weather any time soon. But I will start! And we shall see.

Also, I *LOVE* formspring, even though it’s “springform” inverted and I don’t think it accepts HTML. It’s like e-mail, only without all the unanswered letters frowning at me while I’m writing and making me panic. Thanks for recommending it on your tumblr!

I already gave up bread, pasta, baked goods, and most other starch-containing foods, so I have effectively kicked this question’s ass.
