She stayed in Beiguo for several years. Eventually, we'll find out more about the exact circumstances of her departure, although I'm not sure if it'll be at the beginning of Volume 2, or new chapter one (which will probably be done between volumes, I think)

They massacred a bunch of Kyokanese officials, merchants, scholars, and others who were stuck in Ilthmir when the Kyokan-Ilthmiri war broke out, when Kyokan decided that the continued existence of the Ilthmiri Navy was inconvenient for them.

All of this happened like 190 years ago though.

She went back to Kyokan with Shigeo and li'l. They were briefly lovers, but she was gone before Takako was old enough to remember her at all.

She became a governess, than a teacher at an institutional school. By the 1540s, she was superintendant of the school system of a small town in Insí, where she promoted instruction in Isnlic alongside Kyokanese.

Then in the Great Struggle the Chartannians dropped an atomic bomb on Insí and she died. :(
