No, not secretly. I will announce clearly when one is my favorite at that very moment because they are doing something wonderful like getting me a fresh glass of water, giving me the best hug of the day, putting their clothes away or just saying something delightfully hilarious.

By announcing such favoritism, usually my other son will say something like, "Hey! I thought I was your favorite?" My response, "Oh, honey you are both my favorites." See this rewards good behavior and creates a bit of good ol' American competition. In the end, my boys learn good deeds are rewarded and I get some pampering ... which every woman needs.

There is so much personal value placed on items that you have touched. Especially those that come from your heart and soul. Though if those same items are beginning to weigh on you, then it is time for a change.

      Go slow.
You may reduce in stages taking a large amount and letting go of 1 for every 3, then repeat again 1 for 2.

Without knowing many factors in your question, I would say pick up two pieces. One in each hand. Which one feels better? Say goodbye to the other. It is tough. Though you will feel a huge weight lifted from you.

      Good luck!
I believe you can do this.

Outside of my boys and mom. I do not feel close to anyone in my family. Favorite? not really anyone.

I think about my Aunt Dottie everyday ... WOW, what a woman she was.(Peace Baby) I wish I had more conversations with my Grandma Weid. When I read her obit and heard a few short stories at her funeral, I was deeply sadden that I did not absorb more of her rennissance ways. Then there's my Gramma and Pa who are the two people I think about everytime I go and help a senior move because they guide me on how to ease that stressful situation.

You're question was not complete, though I'm gonna guess you are asking for help with your father's hoarding.

My recommendation is to visit the National Association of Professional Organizer's (NAPO) website: www.napo.net. Here you will be able to locate someone local that can help you and your family. Good luck and let me know if you need further help.

My "Free to Be. You and Me" tshirt from February 2004 comes to mind. Events had happened that finally made me decided I must file for divorce. Out shopping later that day, I came across this tshirt. (Love how the universe brings things and events together) It is the title of a show from the 70s which became a cult classic

My Aunt Dottie bought me the album when I was a kid. And I listen to it all the time. When my boys were young, I found the CD online and introduced them to it. I highly recommend tracking it down. Good stuff.

The shirt has travelled with me from Alaska, Australia, Guatemala. Think it would be cool if I could get it to every continent.

Happiness is best enjoyed in the moment you are in. Yeah, I was happy at the birth of my boys, though I was more exhausted and thankful the pregnancies were over. Nearly every morning one, or both, of my boys will crawl in bed with me to cuddle. I would say that is a very, very happy moment.

The sun is white. The atmosphere of our Earth creates the beautiful bright yellow color. As the sun reaches the horizon at sunrise and sunset the color changes to red hues. This color change is from red having the longest wave length of all the colors.

Jacob, my son. The little dude belly laughs while he sleeps. NO ONE laughs hysterically out loud while they sleep.

There are many friends that I have reconnected on Facebook from the past, though no deep past friendships. So, I'm going with Heather. We met August 1987 at Purdue. We lived just rooms away in our dorm. Think we met as a group of us freshman chicks went out walking greek row that Friday night, that was a wild night.

One of my oldest memories is hanging out studying and studying and studying together to pass our freshmen calc and chemisty classes. Bestest first memory: We had gotten fresh snow overnight and Heather walked out into this large grassy area my room looked over and wrote in the snow by shuffling her feet, "Happy Bday Angie." It was awesome! There's so many more great memories. I miss her. Think I'll give her a call today. Thanks for asking.

Zombie - both have positives and negatives about them. Generally things that begin with the letter "Z" just stand out to me as being fun.

Funniest: an "Abnormal Psychology" book under "Advanced Woodworking"

Inappropriate: guess I'll go with finding current condoms and viagra in a drawer of an 83 yr old client.

Odd: collection of the cremated remains of a clients animals. Must have been at least 15 jars/boxes from a lifetime of cats.

Take my boys and I out to dinner. Unless ... there was a concert coming up that I want to see, then screw the kids, I'm putting the money toward the show.

What?! I'd be me. I kinda sorta have my gig figured out. Gone through counseling, past issues understood and accepted, I feel pretty happy with where am at. To start over with a new person ... no way. Just because someone's life looks awesome, doesn't mean its really that great. I say be happy with what you gots, or do something about it. Life's too short.

Australia. That is a crazy, long journey. Awesome adventure. If not for my boys, I would be living there. Yes, it is that awesome.

OK. I've done both, not at the same time though. Definitely prefer a committed relationship. To have someone to share the exciting times and the make the boring times fun is a good thing.

Other than speeding tickets, I've not had any other dealings with the law. Though my ex has tried twice to have me found in contempt of court for signing our son up to play soccer. I told my attorney if I am found guilty, I will not pay any fines and they will have to throw me in jail. I was found not guilty both times.

So, that leads me to think of the stuff I got away with, and I am not going to list the laws that I know have been "bended." No one was hurt in any offenses, in fact I believe all had a great time ... from what I remember.

I really am not a sentimental person, likely from life events and such. Things are things. I do have a conch shell that was my Aunt Dottie's "lucky seashell." She was my hero/idol and died from cancer when I was 16yrs old. I look at her shell everyday and can only imagine how proud of me she is for all I have endured and accomplished. I really miss her.

I have no regrets. Decisions made were done so with the best information I had at the time, without ill intentions (well, except for the corvette incident and that did release a lot of pent up frustrations, so all good in the end).

I'd make every step in life over again to end up where I am at today. Hey, I sleep very well at night ... and that's a good thing.
