It really depends on the couple. My relationship with them, and my vibe. When I'm designing ANYTHING I want in the world- with no limits [typically faux wedding shoots], I start with a theme/idea and a color scheme. Everything develops around that. When I design events, I design to the last detail... every little thing is important. Sometimes those details are what come together first and the bigger picture is developed accordingly. :)
