How do you kno Carlotta, Hannah and Kaya? From Just blogging?!? Would it be awkward if you met them in real life do you think?
i've known kaya since i was tiny. she's very close with my cousins, and grew up right next to their farm. as for carlotta and hannah - yep, i know them from blogging. and no, i don't think it will be awkward when we finally meet (if so, it'll only be awkward because we are awkward, thus cancelling out all awkwardness). i can honestly say that those girls are two of my best friends.

what blogs do you know of that used to be small and now are huge?

Calling all photographers!! :) What is the "best camera" in your opinion, and what camera {and lenses} do you use? ('Cause I'm seriously considering buying my first DSLR camera... and my eye is on a Canon T3.)
the best camera is one that works. hehe. quite honestly, all midrange SLRS are good these days. it all depends on what you want.
and i use the canon 5d with the 24-70 f/2.8 lens. :) -
Do you have any tips for someone just beginning to think about branding?
find what is unique about yourself and promote that. what sets you apart? for example, i love yellow. so i just pumped that into my blog and website and online presence. so many people send me pictures of yellow things or point something out on pinterest because they know i love yellow. so what do you like? your brand is so much more than your logo and blog header. it takes time - don't expect to find your brand right away. aaand one more thing. carlotta + i made a vlog about this so if you want more stuff about branding check it out :)

hope that helps! :) -

What are your favorite genres of books?
books are my favourite genre.
-
What were a few of your favorite childhood playthings/movies?
trees. i was a monkey child. okay, i still am.
-
What are your favorite genres of books?
I generally read 'realistic fiction'--stories set in different countries and places, but in set in the time they were written, with real people and fears instead of dystopian fantasy and monsters. I like reading about people's real lives; the books when there isn't a mystery or an adventure or a great pivotal moment, but instead observations of life and three-dimensional characters and good writing.
I also love short stories.
But I will read pretty much anything. -
Where did you get your camera bag?
At a garage sale. It was actually Mckmama's. So, yeah. Small world. ;)

How do you find the source for everything you post to tumblr? it's so frustrating for me! thanks, dear :)
a lot of the things i post are from photographers/artists that i keep up with regularly, so it's easy to site the original source in that situation. but finding something i like on a tumblr? that's a whole different story. i basically just follow the links (which can be a hassle sometimes) until i reach the original source. it's like treasure hunting. ;) if i can't find the original source by the time i reach the end link, i don't post the photo. simple as that.
