Hello! I don't think so ley! I think DDP used to be more popular. Now, people question the practicality of it. They believe that extra mods required is not justified by the value added. Then there's another group who wants to do it but does not meet the criteria. So I guess eventuallyy there is indeed a handful but not super a lot?

Anyway, for interviews, it is expected to prepare for the usual questions:

Strength and weakness of you.
Why SMU?
Why this scholarship?
What do you think makes a good scholar? (this is a good question to "show off" by talking about traits, then sell yourself by stating specific example to link you as a person to this traits.)

Just tell yourself, it's all or nothing. No point thinking what could have been but prepare and do The best you can. If you didn't get it, perhaps it isn't for you but know that you've done your best.

It depends! To school no, not even a bit. But when I'm heading out w friends for pure gai gai I'll sometimes put! Not a heavy make up wearer too ~

Hahaha, you sound so enthu! Alright, before I start my pdtive day (I hope) I'll answer this!

Primary school:
Chinese opera? I was quite proud to be part of this special cca but it sounds so damn gross, cheena & embarrassing now, in retrospect. But, it's still interesting & so I guess kinda my favourite - painting your face white & lips red & pretending to be a bird (who surprisingly, can talk). Hahaha!

Favourite class then got to be 5K, with an awezz teacher. But when I drop out of that class the rest kinda moved on to 6L while I was in 6K. (But there I met my love - Patrina!)

Sec School:
I really really really love BP a lot. I like the cheering comp days, lower sec - 101/201 - days where I met TingYan, ZW, WeiLun. Upper sec where I got closer to WeiLun (precious precious table mate!), NguanHan, Brian, Keith, etc. These are my close friends whom I rarely meet up now but always near! :)

Fave memory shld be band days (esp. 2007-8), where mornings were spent YianLu. :)

I grew from a unreasonable bitch to a more sensible & reasonable....bitch. Aye, leopard can't change its spots. They're people who've seen me at my worst I think!

Another memory should be O level results day. Never a day in my life have I ever done my Dad so proud.

Canoeing. Hahaha, well, I didn't do much aside canoeing so what other memories are there? Hahaha, never study never socialise. Canoe it is then.

Met best partner in the world - HuiShan. & Li Jun, G, etc etc. People whom you can not meet but feel as close and ever. & people who will always be trapped in time w you - reminiscing what had been done, what could have been, and all. :)

I had a big one w Pat/YianLu & Esther during lower sec days over ridiculous things.
One with TingYan & another friend regarding sale of prom tickets.
One w YianLu again in JC years over diverging opinions.

Recently the biggest would be one over omission of lies & trust. :(

Hmmmm. I am one who kinda resist such technology so this question doesn't really apply to me. Sometimes, I willingly choose to not get involved, or not respond (which is irritating to my friends) but I find constant & trivial conversations a waste of time and an interruption to what I happen to be doing at that point in time.

So usually, unless the topic get me intrigued, or you as a person is interesting to me, I don't usually text/whatsapp frequently.

As for twitter, it's the curse of my productivity. I tweet waayyyyy much more.

& exclusion wise, I get this feel more in real life situations. :)

And I never believed or subscribe to the notion of regrets. Partly 'cause time cannot reverse & it's silly to dwell in the impossible, and also 'cause I believe things happen for a reason. It may be 2 days, weeks, or 10 years before you realise why.

But think about it, what are signs of maturity? At which instant have you truly grown? Your birthday? No right? Such changes in you are so incidental, that you really have the shitty incidents to thank. :)

Depends on the situation, but here's one!

I believe that the world world works on a balance. When something good happens something bad happens, so, shit happens to the whole world. I get to have this challenge 'cause I can get through it.

Hey don't worry too much. I heard acct doesnt really take into account (punny!) the interviews. So as long as you didn't present yourself as bad, it should be fine. But you don't need to impress :)

I found 2 really awesome friends among others! It's sure you'll see an exponential increase in acquaintances with whom you form superficial friendships. But there's so much more! Don't ear, and we'll see how things work out. :)
Just get into a place you feel comfortable and start from there. I wasn't exactly comfortable with ALL of my camp groups so I drifted away from some, like my FTB. Not saying that there aren't make up of nice individuals, they are. But I just feel a tad out of place. :)

I recognize that everyone excel at different things, and sadly, out society love ppl who do well academically. & it is undeniable that there are ppl who do well here, and ppl who doesn't.
That said, I don't think it'a all that matter. There's still people skills, entrepreneurial minds, music, art, etc.

I would like for people to have something that attract me to them, intelligence can be one of them, but so are many other things. However, being average/not as smart doesn't turn me away, but that you just have to have another area I can love. :)

Well, I'll probably be very very very very very very disappointed, 'cause what I'm expecting is probably at least a B+ mean. That said, I don't believe in not knowing I'll get terrible results till results are out. I'm quite a good predictor of my own results & quite practical.

So I do weigh my efforts, my standard with what is expected of me. SO even if I got a B, I'll most probably had anticipated + deserve tt. LOL.

& I'm not someone who dwells too much over my results, so probably reflect on what had gone wrong, (like one of my mods last sem) and then play hard for summer. HAHA. :)

Nope! The success rate would usually be about the same whether or not you are reapplying? Like having straight As doesn't mean you'll get in?
