How do you keep your Eczema under control? I have had mine for >90% of my life and it gives me grief, especially when it's really hot.
I know how that feels! Well lucky for me it got a lot better as I got older. It was hell when I was in primary school and it slowly went away in secondary school. I've learnt that abstaining from seafood definitely helps so it's a good thing I'm not too huge a fan of prawns and crabs but keeping my shellfish intake is quite a challenge. On top of that always moisturize your skin, always! Once your skin is dry it has a tendency to itch. Also, it's good to have aloe vera on hand to sooth a mild rash and also a stronger eczema cream for the more resistant ones. I find that using balm moisturizers (like Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream) works well for rash spots.
All in all it's a lot of being careful not too take too much seafood, drinking water and moisturizing! Eczema wouldn't go away forever but keeping it to minimal and small break outs will have to do. I'm still battling some here and there and am not free from them :(
