Figures + Toys, mainly.
My shelves currently have 3 ponies, Cardboard Tube Samurai, Ho-oh, 3 huge dragons, a Donkey Kong monster truck, Tsukasa from Lucky Star, and back in the day I had TONS of Kid Robot vinyl dudes from blindbags they used to sell at the record store.
Aside from that I guess video games, but who doesn't collect those? -
I like using nonsensical Japanese words but that usually means you have to play the non-translated game or else can only use 2 syllables.
I like naming my characters after songs, famous people and groups I know. But my favorite thing to do is improvise on the spot without a common theme. Some good discoveries happen that way. -

Likely Bluebeard. I don't think any other book has impacted how exactly I look at art and the creative process to be perfectly honest.
Or Lord of the Rings in full, because it's inspiring to think that one man made all of this massive, sprawling universe by hand. -
