I'm not sure what part you're missing, so I'll explain it in parts. First, in case you missed it somehow (I posted it all over HITS Facebook and Twitter), HONK WARS (from T.H.I.S.) was put on Reddit a week or so prior and voted up a lot. Many other sites including The Huffington Post and The Daily What picked it up and helped catapult it even more. I didn't do it, though, but I momentarily took credit for it and then said it wasn't me. Then I drank some old wine for him. Then I sounded really gay. REALLY gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Random Myspace friend-request. Heard 'em, loved 'em... started spreading them around the web. They immediately took notice and contacted me. I asked if I could do more (set up a livejournal and Yahoo Group) and they said yes. Saw them live & met them a month or so later, luckily, at the last Pingry show, and the rest is history.

It's funny, I used to LOVE mosquito bites. I am not sure why, but it could be because I enjoyed the feeling of relief so much when I scratched it. My least favorite part, now and then, is when/if I cannot reach it.
