I actually pitched the idea to do a US version of the GLB when I was an intern at the manga publishing company Tokyopop way back in 2003.(It was just a summer internship. I actually went to uni out at Penn State and drove allll the way to LA just for the internship!) It took several years for licensing negations to go through, and by the time it did, I was already living in Japan. Tokyopop contacted me again while I was abroad and I did work for them freelance while I lived in Osaka, and did some articles, event coverage, and consultation work for them while I was there. At the end of 2008, they offered me an assistant editor position at the Los Angeles office, so I moved from Japan to Los Angeles.It was really fun while it lasted, but as you probably know by now, they English version is no longer in publication because Tokyopop went under during the recession and eventually stopped publishing all printed material. But, losing that job was one of the best things to happen to me, because I was able to figure out what I really wanted to do, which is MAKE news rather than write about it ;) I now own Chubby Bunny accessories (www.iamchubbybunny.com) and am co-owner of the event production company Bubble Punch (www.bubblepunch.com), which makes me very happy, if not somewhat stressed sometimes. But it's a hell of a lot better being your own boss!

Pretty rarely.. like I've only been through 3 tiny shakers in my 3.5 years living here! And they're so small nothing so much as fell off a shelf or anything. Just feels like a big truck driving by or something. Don't be scared! Earthquakes are a normal part of how the world works! And the one on the East coast didn't so much as knock over a chair, did it?

I'm actually pretty lazy about buying quality dyes! I just use manic panic and dilute the midnite blue with conditioner until it's a shade I like, hehe. Thinking about changing the color up again though, just not sure to what!

They're in Advertising, Japanese and English. Uhmm it took 5 years and a semester abroad in Japan to do and I think either 1 or 2 summer sessions :)

Whoa this is a crazy question haha! I don't think about being with anyone else other than Will, ever :) I've never thought of celebrities as being terribly mentally stable, which makes all their outward hotness totally spike downward for me. Having met actual celebrities and befriended them, it's not that hard to see them as normal people because... they are. Just with a crapload of money. I'll take the money, though!

I just sort of dress depending on how I feel, and what event or reason I'm dressing up for. If it's for a specific themed event, if I'm stuck on ideas, sometimes I'll take inspiration from a movie, person, picture, or event I remember that's similar and go from there
