awesome question. i gotta be honest with you- i'm so NEW to the game. i only started rapping like 4 years ago. i didn't think i was ever going to be a very good rapper and i've been super amazed at the response to my tape. i only have one tape out!!! its only been 5 months!!! have you ever heard a rapper's very first tape? go listen to some and then mine again and tell me what you think.

ok, so since i've improved as a rapper i've had wild dreams about who i could collab with. Amaechi from Fairtilizer says I need better production so I've been thinking big. First, I need to work with some more emerging talent and people on the Indie side. That's important- 2 Hungry Brothers, Oddisee, Best Kept Secret, and many more. Then the big names: RZA, Kanye, Pharrell, Just Blaze, Rich Harrison, Pete Rock, Dre, Primo, Alchemist, Ronson and a gang more. No disrespect to people i didn't mention. I LOVE dope beats of all types. If you nasty, email me. I can rap on anything tight.

good question. but, i learned in my prior businesses that you really can't plan beyond 5 years. i'll tell you what i dream about tho: the Millennial Generation (1978-1998) needs solid, courageous leadership. We also need taste makers who are not corporate puppets selling lies and stereotypes to the world. The misrepresentation of our various communities/cultures, lack of freedoms, and lack of options in the US concern me. We must work hard to break the tone of leadership created by Baby Boomers and followed by Gen X. They practice "black and white," separatist, cynical leadership that makes me not want to participate in the formal processes provided- like voting, elective office, and corporate leadership. There is a better way to do things. The key will be finding the right levers to utilize. Oh, and I'd also like to host my own show on HBO so I can rap, tell jokes, do social commentary, and curse a lot. Ha.

I'm going to keep this serious. Because dealing w/ bammas is serious business. my full time job is to "wear a bamma out." so, a little history.

Bamma is a DC slang term that goes waaaaay back to my mom's generation. Back when, a lot of Black folks were coming to DC from the South and they dressed kind of funny, wearing weird suits, lots of colors, didn't fit in so much, talking funny, etc. So, in DC we're really judgmental people who practice mind control on other Blacks so they all act the same. Not saying that's a good thing. Anyway, there must have been a real focus on people from Alabama. Which, is how we got the term. People from Alabama still call themselves "bamas" but you'll notice that they use one "M" and when people in the know from DC spell "bamma" we use two "M's". I think this is IMPORTANT. I'm not trying to hate on people from Alabama or any one from the South. But, a bamma MUST be joned on (made fun of). It is my duty. I can not live a day letting a bamma get by being a bamma ass bamma.

So, today the term bamma roughly means the same thing as "herb" would in NYC. Basically, its someone doing wrong, looking wrong, or saying something dumb. Youse a bamma for wearing Ed Hardy for example. In fact, I coined the term "Ed Hardy Bammas" to point out how "bammerific" that ugly shit is.

In fact, youse a bamma for asking what a bamma is. I'm a bamma for using formspring, twitter, and facebook. Its not always a terrible thing to be a bamma. Sometimes its just a good natured, friendly jab that you can use on your own friends. Like, Black people might call one another "nigga."

I would love it if the word "bamma" made it into popular American lexicon. So, go!

Depends on how much. And, if they have the money. You could go to Small Claims Court, I guess. I prefer breaking a fool's knee caps. That's how gents do it.

I learned about that Wale show through the New Times Crossfade blog, which I follow on Twitter. For shows not related to Hip-Hop, I look at the New Times and Sweat Records' blog. Lolo keeps track of EVERYTHING dope. But, her audience isn't as Hip-Hop obsessed as I am.

I'm also a huge nerd so I look at a gang of blogs. But, i feel you! Its totally frustrating to miss a good show- and I miss tons here. Someone should do a Hip-Hop live concert blog.

      Not it!

honestly, i LOVE my own music. i'm a HUGE ASSHOLE about what i think is good. Very picky. And I have to say, my shit knocks.

But, i also listen to others for inspiration. I love all kinds of music. You might be surprised to see what's on my iPod.

wow. GREAT QUESTION. um...i am strong like a bull. ha. um...i'm plum crazy. i dunno. this is what's necessary.

i just want to say also, that this isn't about money. i would have been making high six figures right now if i stayed in boston.

i did it for the kids. cuz, i believe that children are our future. teach them well and let them lead the way. show them all the beauty they posses INSIIIIIIIIIDDDEEEE. sexual chocolate!

if we had science together, i wouldn't know. i was asleep in bio, chem, and AP chem. i managed to pull a 3 on the AP exam. but i only took that b/c our teacher said i didn't have to take his final if i took the AP.

    11. Black Bobby

great question. this obviously needed delving into. i mean, i've seen so many crappy movies. its called childhood. i mean, have you ever gone back to watch a comedy from when you were a kid? how many laughs you getting out of rodney dangerfield now that you're an adult?? how about police academy? real barrel of monkeys there. to answer the question tho, i'd have to say that Four Brothers was the worst piece of trash i'd ever seen. i literally had to stop my boy from duping out of the movie Peter from Family Guy style. He was like: DONE. But, I just had to stay for the amazing acting and writing.
