It went exactly like this. It was one day after practice, May 2nd to be exactly. I was waiting for the perfect time to do it, since all the other times weren't convenient just because we were always surrounded by people. I wanted it to be just right and us two alone. I asked her to take a walk with me as she waited with me for my late bus. My palms were sweaty and my hands were shaking. We stopped at the bathrooms in the commons. I mumbled a bit, stuttered, and did everything to embarrass myself completely.. but I got my point across when I popped the question, "Will you be mine?"
