Never! Wouldn't even know how to go about getting anyone in an industry to see it, let alone get normal people to read it :D

Indeed it does. For the most part, the series can comfortably end with a certain story, though the nature of the story allows me to revisit the universe should I want to. Cosmic Dash is an ensemble comic, but Dash is the namesake, and his story has an end-point.

On average, I get about 300 to 400 hits per page on an update day (friday), and between 100-200 on any other day.

I figure I'll give Penny-Arcade a run for their money in another couple decades.

Well, Humans and Blassnaught hate each other, and are responsible for quite a lot of the conflict and looming cold-war in the galaxy. There are some other important racial conflicts though.

The Grey have a severe dislike of Mantoid as a whole. Grey are pure science, and as such have maintained a tight control over technology in the galaxy, however the Mantoid have quickly offered the galaxy an alternative that is just as good as Grey technology. Even worse, the Mantoid are profoundly religious and the Grey can't stand that.

The Terrekin are also a pretty grumpy species, for starters, as the accepted "oldest" race, they certainly act grouchy enough. The race is fairly aloof and prefers isolation, and years of war and politics really rubbed them the wrong way about galactic society. They also have an ongoing kerfuffle with the Repton, as they share extremely similar gene-sequences, suggesting a common ancestry or one race being a branch of another. This is a subject of great debate.

There are others of course, but I think this answer is long enough!

It depends on your allegiances really. The Federation and Empire each have their very own systems. The Neutrality is probably most successful because they accept all. Most citizens of the galaxy spend about 15 years in public, basic education, and then eventually specialize at an academy. Academies can range from military-operated, to a broader, more university-styled education.

Arguably, the most prestigious academy in the Silver Spiral is Gnarlruut, which is completely neutral and kind of does a bit of everything.

There was a book about Steve Martin I really enjoyed. For the most part, I don't really read books written by famous people about famous people. Most of their lives could be read in a wikipedia article, and that is about as much as I really need to know.

But what if someone steals it? D:

In all seriousness, I have a few fun concepts I'd love to unload one day.

As far as Gimli goes, I believe he got to sail into the afterlife, as did Sam, Merry, and Pippin. It's been forever since I read the books, though, because I find Tolkien's writing very, very dry.

      The elves were snooty anyway.

For the most part, I've been able to get my family and friends into the shows I like. Boardwalk Empire is a harder sell due to subject matter though, as there is a lot of nudity there, and it would be weird watching that with my mother.

I guess another show that might be a bit hard to sell is Arrested Development. One of my best friends just doesn't seem interested in the show and it drives me crazy that she can't seem to get into it.

Then again, I am incredibly stubborn and refuse to watch Family Guy.

I guess I kind of did not answer the question!

Well, I think sensibilities have changed a bit in regards to what people want as far as action goes. Stallone and Schwarzenegger perfectly encapsulated the Cold War era. For the most part, look at their career post-Cold War, and you'll see they never did all that well aside from a few exceptions. Even their big comebacks are fueled my nostalgia as opposed to them being action-movie ideals. Actors like Jason Statham and the Rock are kind of Swarzenegger-lite, I think.

Really, these days action-films are more grounded in character motivation and actual emotion. I think Daniel Craig is definitely working his way to action-megastar, particularly if his 007 work holds up. If you look at the big action-protagonists these days, you'll see Bale, Craig, DiCaprio, and their ilk. Not really the warrior-types the Cold War audiences were after, but more the visceral and thinking type that viewers today seek.

Morgan Freeman made a pretty awesome president in Deep Impact.

Yeah, but do they retain the knowledge of the other times they've been in the loop, or do they relive that loop without the knowledge they are in the loop?

Depends, do they reset with the loop, or do their retain their memories of prior instances.

Basically, do we have a Groundhog's Day situation?

My opinion is worthless because I spend way too much time on 4chan. Most of the boards are terrible, but I've found a lot of use for /co/, the comics and cartoons board. I also like to troll /v/ from time to time.

My most popular one seems to be Ben's Book of Banned Beasts. I am actually tinkering with it again. No sense in letting a winner gather dust, right?
