My breakdown. If I've ever gone off my intended path, that was it. The thing is, I seem to have veered back on to my path recently and it's like it may as well never have happened, but it certainly changed the last five years of my life radically. Maybe I just wasn't ready to be where I was.

Yes there is. For over a year I was engaged to an emotionally/psychologically and physically abusive alcoholic. He destroyed a lot of things that I liked about myself and for that he can never be forgiven. I do wonder from time to time if he's finally picked on the wrong person and got a taste of his own medicine.

I'm not that kind of person. I would probably still flirt with them unless instructed not to but it would be without an agenda other than 'I find you hot and think you should know'. Closest I'd get to it would be to ask if their partner was ameniable to 'extra-curricular funs' but I get that's not everyone's bag. I don't steal.

Honestly? It's taken me a long time to learn this lesson, but if it feels like someone is trying to tell you something, they usually are. However hard it is, move on. Don't waste your time on someone who doesn't care about you.
