art history, basically, is (as stupid as this sounds) about history of art.

different schools have different modules for their students to take. but i'm going to the university of york, so some of my modules in year one include european church architecture, the renaissance and stuff like that! :-)

it's interesting because it teaches you how to look at things (or art, primarily) in different perspectives, how to draw upon theories of previous art historians and apply them to current art pieces and see the connections between them. it's pretty interesting, i think! and hopefully i've adequately answered your question.

the shades were actually bought at laneway itself, they're laneway merchandise! i think you can get really cheap lookalikes from bugis street or something though :-)

i didn't get a scholarship. so far, neither of the scholarships i've applied for have contacted me yet, and because it's been 2 months, i think it's safe to say that i won't be getting any.

my mum offered to pay for my education for me, which is really sweet on her part... so i guess right now, it's down to me being thrifty when i'm over there and hoping that my family can cope!

i usually only use instagram nowadays! but i used to have hipstamatic, and they have great filters too. apps like meitu xiuxiu and meitu gif are really fun and easy to use as well!
