Yeah, but we're a lot more liberal, and much more of a "melting pot" of culture so in a way you have more rights- right to free health care, gay marriage, legalized green? Aha.
Oh Canada -
When I was in H.S I never came out, and neither did a few other girls I knew until afterwards. The lesbians in my HS I know by name even though I didn't know them at all.... My school wasn't as accepting and had a lot of thug type of people so in my own experience I still probably wouldn't have came out in HS.
On a better note: times are changing and I talk to a lot of girls and guys that are now open and in Highschool- and having no problem at all! We can thank more accepting media (glee, and every other friggen show with token lesbians or gays now aha) for opening minds and for educations new role in acceptance. In college being gay is NOTHING.
With Highschool you should feel it out a little, but either way people might still talk.
No offense to all my lovely Highschool viewers but Highschool mentality might as well be 5th grade mentality.
Hate on things because it's cool. Hate on things because it's fun. Hate on things you don't know, understand, or have any information on. Hate on people because.... She wore pink crocs and ONG GURL who let her wear her house in those -snap snap- aha. You know?
I believe completely in being yourself and not hiding it but from my own personal experience in a ghetto HS and 2 token gays, it was a little isolating to those people. -
First time experiences are always awkward! Especially if you both are personality types to expect the other one to maybe make the move.
My advice? Wait for a moment... Any kind of moment even if it's just making her smile, or blush....
Then grow some balls and DO IT. It doesn't have to be tongue hockey but once you break the ice you'll be kissing so much everything else will happen more naturally -
I want to nurse in California for 5-7 years before finding a place to settle down for good :) finishing all my nursing school in Canada though, our nursing education is much more intense but allows you to work anywhere in the world basically.

Everyone moves at their own pace :) I think if it's one of your first relationships, or you're young, or just moving at a comfortable pace that's completely fine.
But! If you're at a standstill because no one has the balls to make that first move, strap on some plastic veiny mythical balls and go for it :). -
Ohhh man; I'm the most awkward person ever aha, I have a swag button... But when that button is on off- hello awkward moments!

It's linked off of my YouTube channel but if you search HomooMilk or my full name, it'll be the picture with me that says HomooMilk on it too :)
(another one for me pops up too but it's my close friends and family one that I don't network on) -
You just have to learn to let things go and to take certain measures of self control to be able to put things in the past. Why hold yourself from possibly meeting the person of your dreams, or a new friend or just growth in general.
Everything happens for a reason :) and each shitty life storm has a lesson and character built strength in it.
I know it's hard but jealousy takes effort sometimes. Some people are more apt to jealousy maybe due to past experiences but like I said, live in the now and the future and live for yourself ! -
Definitely by myself.
