I would invest in quality brands and in their classic styles first. Some classics are like the quilted Chanel flap, Céline box, Louis Vuitton epi Alma, Givenchy Nightingale, etc.

I actually rarely buy jewelry... I really should more but I've been putting accessories on the backburner. If I want something cheap and fast fashion, I look at Forever 21. Otherwise, probably Net-a-Porter and Shopbop.

They're classic but I've never been that drawn to them.

haha Thank you! I'll take it as a compliment minus her dating patterns of like 13 guys a year ;)

Thank you! We had 100 guests -- the number felt just right, and we wanted it to be very intimate and close. Good luck with wedding planning!! Congrats!

I don't really notice that so it personally doesn't bother me. I like how clean white looks. But the black matte is pretty sleek too, so if you'll get bothered by the contrast of the white faceplates then go with the black so you're not reminded of that every time you look at it.

I had the white iPhone 4s and now I have a black iPhone 5. I like the matte black but I do miss the white. I think I will go back to that next.

Thank you! I think so much of marriage is cultural, like in some cities, the age norm for marriage is early 30s. But here, most of our friends are in serious relationships or are engaged or married, so I didn't feel that I was so young when we got married. Also, my husband is seven years older than I am so we were both ready. He wanted to marry me after the first date, but we took some time and dated for about two years. I don't think there's a proper dating period either, just whatever works for the two people.

Thank you! I get my bangs trimmed.

I've stopped shopping at malls for the most part.. I definitely find inspiration from others, so I don't think my style is so different, but through making "fashion mistakes" I buy less trends and more pieces I personally like. I'm not sure if those are the mistakes you're talking about, but I feel about them the way I do most mistakes.. as learning experiences..

English. I'm a decade removed from the kids I teach, and I like that I can remember how it felt then because it helps me to be empathetic yet removed enough to push them forward.

thank you! don't know if I'm an inspiration but thank you for saying that. :) I've never waited for a guy to like me back. either you proactively get to know him or if it's a "just friends" thing then move on

Sure! This may take a while because I find makeup posts really time consuming and I have so little free time right now... but maybe I'll do a quick products post first? My daily routine is extremely fast and simple. I also had a guest blogger write about creating a smokey eye: http://www.heyprettything.com/2012/09/guest-post-by-beautyfull-day-smokey-eye.html

Aw I'm sorry. I find that time heals all, and sometimes it just takes allowing yourself to feel the pain instead of delaying it. Then after you've mourned enough, be brave and move on.

I don't own any but I have toyed with the idea of getting some floral or polka dot ones.. but probably not..

Thank you! I actually privatized most of my personal accounts and edited some content on my blog because I became a high school teacher. I slowly started to separate my blog life and personal life. I made a blog twitter: twitter.com/heyprettything and maybe I'll make a blog Instagram too...
