There is no reasoning with a dog, especially not that one. Colin has a better shot of converting the mules than he does of Wolfie. Right now he and she have some detente going, but it's only a matter of time before one of them bites the other.
There is a reason capitalists are called "running dogs," you know. -
Neither. Colin has just barely managed to stave off death from pyemia, stemming from the stab wounds that Dan gave him and that weren't treated well at all. He really should still be recovering in bed since he's very, very debilitated (old Colin never would've had trouble hopping up into a wagon), but he knows that he only has a certain amount of time left to complete his mission, and he WILL complete his mission.

I'll think about it! So far, the only books anyone's read are Cecil Dreeme and Othello. Judith is reading Harper's Bazar at the moment as well.

Expanded how? I think I've said more or less whatever I've needed to say on the topics at hand, though I might spiff them up for print, and I will of course add more as necessary (I'll need some on Buffalo Soldiers soon enough). What would you like me to add? :3c

She was thinking of all the money she stands to collect if Colin can manage not to die. It's a LOT of money.

Insufficiently large, I can tell you that. I would estimate about 3000 fans, though the hard core seems very small.

Eh, it's not really that interesting! We put it online because a publisher wouldn't take a chance on it without a fanbase; unfortunately that fanbase never arrived. INTERNET, WE AM DISAPPOINT.

yes and he and ghost banquo are always ghost fucking, with their awesome ghost wangs

Most of it is still back in the cabin. Banquo took about a thousand with him to Golden, about $900 of which is currently in Jacob's possession; Colin took a few hundred dollars with him with he left, which Judith liberated from him and has been using to pay for supplies and his medical bills. The rest will be a nice little surprise for Johnny when he goes home!

I thought that much was obvious.

I liked the part with Colin and Banquo under the stars. I reread it many years after I'd first written it and felt really bad that I had to kill Banquo after that. :(
