I'm not a huge fan of korean dramas; I was only able to watch 3-- Heartstrings, Witch Yoo Hee and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. Overall they were cute and funny and I enjoyed watching them a lot! My favourite has got to be My Girlfriend is a Gumiho though. :)

The gold chain belt is actually my grandmum's necklace. I think thin belts of any colour would go well with the dress though a gold one would make things look more sophisticated. Or you could use a gold chain necklace as a belt as well. I think they have ones at Forever 21. :)

Aw, thank you so much! Unfortunately the last I've been to Hong Kong was five years ago but I did remember shopping at a place called Mongkok and at the malls around Causeway Bay. My cousin who's been there just recently also suggested Festival Walk. Hope this helps! :)

sorry for answering this late! err as for my role in the community...I think I'm more of a humble follower slash struggling-to-be-responsible citizen than the leader type. I'm generally an introvert so I'm shy when it comes to speaking out and invoking a sense of awareness and responsibility to a number of people although I do think I have (actually I think everyone has) ideas and capabilities that could somehow inspire and move others to do things that can be deemed beneficial to the country.

aww thanks! yes, I use hairspray since my hair is so unruly and quick to return to its straight form (it's thick as well). I've been using the pink White Rain extra hold aerosol hairspray. It's enough to make my curls last for about 6 hours, smells great and didn't give me scalp problems. It washes away easily too! And it's aerosol so it doesn't affect the ozone layer lol. I've never really religiously used other hairsprays so I couldn't suggest other brands but I think White Rain works just fine for me. :)

brogues are the ones with the perforated design and a "wingtip" on the toe part. oxfords don't have those details, just enclosed lace-ups.

"at" for specifics and "in" if it's followed by a level: freshman student in college/ freshman student at La Salle.

I usually shop at the one located at Farmer's plaza in cubao. It's a boutique (across Clipper, I think) so you can't miss it :)

One of my favourite combos is a lapel button down with half of its hem tucked in my rolled up pants plus belt that matches the colour of my brogues. When I pair my brogues with pants, I roll them up a bit because it looks kind of awkward when it's not and whenever I pair it with shorts, I wear socks. I think the minute you pair brogues with pants and shorts, the look is already casual. For tops, you can wear cropped jumpers or even oversized ones, button downs or a loose shirt and layer on with a denim jacket. Anyway to give you ideas here are some of my favourite looks from Lookbook featuring brogues: http://lookbook.nu/look/2062323-On-Wednesdays-We-Wear-Pink http://lookbook.nu/look/1980580-Southwood-Plantation-Road http://lookbook.nu/look/3252607-Petals http://lookbook.nu/look/1225823-Mrs-Woolly http://lookbook.nu/look/2679327-The-Blues Hope this helps! :)

they say it's rainy in Korea during August and when it's not, the weather is scorching. I suggest you pack 2-3 dresses (casual and something you can use for a formal night out), sleeveless ones so you can wear it as is when it's hot or layer on when it's cold so bring a couple of cardigans as well to keep you warm and maybe a leather/letterman jacket too or a scarf if you're into scarves. You can also layer with a lapel button-down plus a cropped jumper- that seems to be the trend these days. As for bottoms, I suggest you bring about 4: jeans, shorts and a couple of skirts (flouncy ones/ mullets/maxis). and then bring 4 tops that you could match with the bottoms but if you can't pack that much you can remix your dresses by tucking it in the skirts. When traveling as tourist I tend to pack colourful items so the photos would look more appealing. I think they're fond of colourful clothes in Korea too but I'm not completely certain. And as for shoes, bring pretty ballet flats and a pair of strappy wedges/wedge booties that could match all of your outfits. I prefer brown since you can match it with anything or it could be black as well, your choice. And accessories...err I suppose just bring a stack of gold bangles and your favourite rings. Oh and grab the opportunity to wear tights and socks too! I made a polyvore set that could give you ideas but I'm having errors uploading it because of my connection. sorry. :\ hope this helps though! :)

I actually have no idea. I haven't read a book by Mukarami (I know, I suck). The book in the MadHouse feature- it was owned by one of the creators of MadHouse Manila and we borrowed it for the shoot. I'm planning to stock up novels by Mukarami though. I heard his books are great :)

It depends on the pre-med course that you decide to take and where you want to take up medicine. In my opinion BS Nursing and BS Bio are great pre-med courses since it would give you introductions to human anatomy and physiology. As for schools...UP, Ateneo and UST are the finest, definitely. UERMMMCI is also good. The advantage with UP, UST and UERM is that they are already affiliated or have their own tertiary hospital so you wouldn't have trouble with your internship. I don't know how it works in Ateneo. Getting accepted to med school depends greatly on your NMAT score though. Some universities, like UP, only accept applicants who got 99% on NMAT. As for UST, I don't know the exact figure but I heard it has to be above 80%. So not only do you have to ace your pre-med course, you also have to ace your NMAT. Hope this helps! :)

right now I'm going to try to get a job first and see if I can build a career from there and if that doesn't work out (if I'm not happy) then maybe I'll consider getting into med school. If I were to pursue it though I'm gonna have to get a scholarship because I couldn't pay all the academic expenses myself.

white. most people just wear it with a black bra though
-
for the last three outfit posts, the pictures were taken along the streets of Cubao. for the others, they're taken just outside my house. :)
-
that skirt's one of my favourites so I will definitely post another look wearing it again. I think it's versatile though, you could pair with with bold colours. I'm not sure about nudes and pastels because I haven't tried it. So far I've realised it looks amazing with a wine red and floral printed tops :)
