My favorites are Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Symphonia. I'm going on a major JRPG binge when my current stack of games is finished.

It is meant to display a kind of acceptance about what his life has been and to show growth as a human being.

Whoa. OK. Here goes. I was hoping the implications would be enough to clue everyone in on what is really happening at the end of the episode.
Leon died at the end of the episode. It isn't explicitly shown. I think it would be sensationalist to show him die on camera and not in keeping with the mood of the show. Also, rather than simply tell people what I meant, I always feel that the viewer should participate in the narrative to the point of figuring it out themselves. That said, since you asked directly, there it is.
It is hinted at by playing "Terra's Theme" in the background. That's the music that, according to It's All Over, Leon associates with death. He mentioned getting a lot of bad medical news and that he doesn't have much time left. His last line was "It's starting to get dark." It has a double meaning. He said it in relation to how tired he was, but the delivery is supposed to suggest he means something else. Finally, showing the empty room is meant to signify that he is gone. Not asleep. Sorry if the ending was a little too Sopranos, but I felt this was the best way to let him go. -
Here are a few and why.
The Villain. It was the first time that I thought I was making something worthwhile.
No Children. The first one of "those" emotional episodes.
It's All Over. My favorite ending to an episode and the most personal thing I've ever written for the show. It was more about myself than my character.
Addict. Simply one of the overall best.
Grandfather. Best audio episode I ever did. I thought I structured it well. I don't often do that.
Funeral. Apparently, this brought a few people to tears.
Cards. First crossover. Really tough from an acting standpoint.
Calls. Second best ending I ever did. -
Honestly, that was simply a mistake on my part. I was going to mention that David married Peter in June (as predicted in Cards) and that was going to be why Leon started thinking about dating in Ms. Right. I forgot to mention that during Ms. Right. So, although it is not mentioned in the show, there is no reason to believe that David and Peter didn't get married in Iowa.

I was listening to Tom Waits while playing Final Fantasy X. For the uninitiated, Waits is a singer-songwriter known for tunes about drinking, heartbreak and loss. I wondered what a dying-in-the-gutters character would think about video games. That’s how the character for the show was born.

All popsicles for Leon. ALL OF THEM!

Halloween. Horror movies and candy. Perfect for me.
-
Drama. I rarely watch comedies.

If they don't show up one week, I'm not doing it solo. That would be a boring hour for everyone.

Relaxing.

Green, blue, everything else.

Dog. Can't let gorillas get too smart. That's how Planet of the Apes happens.

I used to drink green tea sometimes, but I haven't lately. I mostly drink water, milk and juice.

I could go on and on about the film, but I'll just sum up. The original script for Southland Tales was all about making fun of Hollywood. It evolved into something more, but the feel of it remains. Everything in the movie seems to be a slam on shallow culture. What I love most about Southland Tales is who Richard Kelly cast in the roles of his shallow entertainment-mocking movie: icons of shallow entertainment.
Southland Tales stars a professional wrestler, the most obnoxious character from a grossout comedy movie series, a female pop music star, an ex-boy band singer, Silent Bob, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the casts of SNL and Mad TV. That's not to say I have anything against Whedon's teenager-targeted television series or even pro wrestling, but I find the casting of this movie the most brilliant and tongue-in-cheek I have ever seen. I don't think the cast was in one the joke, and that is why it's glorious.
I haven't watched Linkara's massive MAGFest crossover of Southland Tales, but I'm guessing that had he knocked on my hotel room door and asked me to be part of it, I would have been the only dissenting voice.
