Hi! I've been meaning to open up a store for ages but haven't got around to it...i've usually just done a for sale post on my blog when i have a few things to sell. I do have an ebay account but it's actually my ex boyfriends so I won't be using it for much longer...!

i work, and i sell clothes i know i won't really wear anymore to buy pieces that i will. so i always only ever have a 'capsule wardrobe' and that seems to work for me!

Hi! Hmm....for shopping, i recommend subway dc, wasteland and cultstatus on king st in the city, atlas divine and harry & gretel in leederville, and the whole area around claremont quarter. i'm not so versed in restaurants as i hardly eat out at fancy places so i can recommend cafes: cheeky sparrow in wolf lane in the cbd, planet cafe and beaufort st cafe in mt lawley. bars: five bar in mt lawley, little creatures brewery in fremantle....my mind is actually so blank at the moment! if you have any specific questions please ask :)

      Hi, thank you very much!!
Lover is one of my absolute favourite labels, and most of their stuff is very delicate so easy to ruin! In fact, some items (especially white ones) I've spilled stuff on, but it doesn't make sense to me to refrain from buying clothes you love for fear of damaging them; they were made to be worn! Just be careful when wearing expensive stuff....and in the end it's worth it, they will last much longer than cheaper items and you'll love them longer too :)

I don't know of many americans who have moved here at all, actually. It seems more the other way around! Australia is only just starting to adopt medicine as a post graduate degree, here it's always been a degree you could do straight out of school. As for uni's...i only really know of the one here, the University of Western Australia's medical school which i think is actually a pretty good one: http://www.meddent.uwa.edu.au/

      Good luck :)

IM is pretty well known for the changing sizing of her boots...it depends on the collection. for these, i have them in 39 and they're a tiny bit too small but in no way painful. i'm usually a true size 9.

I bought them from eBay France last year sometime. They pop up occasionally on eBay you just have to be patient! They're from the 09 collection I think?

'Bleecker' is a reference to Bleecker St in New York, also a song by Simon & Garfunkel one of my fave bands. NY is my one true love and i try to go every year...i guess the pairing of the words 'heart' and 'bleecker' is to kinda show my love of new york...or something? i actually don't really know why i picked that name..

i'm into all kinds of music. my absolute favourites include elbow, simon & garfunkel, massive attack, sigur ros, pendulum etc. i've a very eclectic taste i'd say...currently really into lana del rey too. in terms of australian bands, pendulum is the only one i really love...i'm kinda out of the loop with what's happening with music lately actually.

a lot of places! Ebay for the older pieces, the blazer and wide legged pants on the blog recently were both from David Jones. I was sent a couple pieces from an online store called Heilee, and I'd also check out shopbop, net a porter, forward and bona drag...

I like this question. I work with a particular girl who's 17 and is a blogger as well, she gets a lot of shit for her style and although it gets her down, she knows that it is more important to be who she wants to be and to basically tell them to get fucked.

I'm 25 and a normal outfit for me is what my friends also consider being 'dressed up'. wearing a pair of acne boots is considered weird here, anything that isn't flats is considered weird. perth is a little backward like that. i obviously can't fully understand your position because i know that at that age the opinions of others around you is everything, and it's scary to put yourself out there and ignore shit people are saying about you. All i can say is don't change a thing, do what you want and like what you like, and fuck all the haters. Besides, why would you want to be like all the sheep? xx
