this is one of the toughest question i've been asked. and i don't know how to answer it. i think it's one of those things you'll never know what you'll choose unless you have come to be in that situation. i have an idea what i'll do though, and why.

are you completely sure it won't stay the same? i think there's a difference; in the last question you mentioned you don't want to hurt him; in this one, that you won't feel the same way. now, are you saying that based on a previous experience that ended that way, or just a hunch you think it might be?
may i ask how he's been hinting that he likes you?

no, she actually lives in portland oregon; my advice is 1. keep God at the center and if it's His will, He will make it work out. 2. get a webcam and skype every now and then; you can see facial expressions and body language that go along with spoken word, that you would't not normally be able to see on a telephone call, thus addig depth to your conversation. :)

unless he's openly told you that he likes you, i would't necesarily open a conversation with him about the matter based on a hunch. but in any case if he likes you, and lets you know it, let him know how you feel; you're being more honest with him and yourself that way; let him know you value your friendship and do not wish to pursue anything further. it basically comes down to this: if you are his friend, by telling him what you want, you show him that you respect him; and if he is your friend, he'll respect you by telling him whatever you tell him, because he values your friendship.

so far i haven't, partly due to the fact that i joined his band when oceans was already done; i was going to do a guitar line for the new single open your eyes, but timing with the studio didn't let it happen, but i'm sure i'll contribute to the upcoming songs. as far as vocals, i'm not entirely sure, i think he does most of them, and on a few instances i know one of the producers he works with put some back up vocals on a few of the tracks as well.

i thought it to be the biblical thing to do. and it does ring true with proverbs 11:9 (with their words, the godless destroy their friends, but knowledge will rescue the righteous)
but truth be told, i'm still so much more in need of wisdom and insight. God's still at work shaping me.
