      I just applied at Washburn I'm looking to to do my general education first, what are some courses to start with for a new college student and for my general education?

      Hi. I was told to ask you about the PTK scholarships. I know that for normal transfer scholarships, you must not have previously attended a four year university, but does that apply to this? The PTK website acted as though it didn't, so just checking.

      Hello. I no longer work with our transfer students, but I'm happy to answer your question! In order to be considered eligible for the PTK scholarship that is awarded through the university, a student cannot have attended another four-year institution.       Hey Hannah, I am interested in attending Washburn when i graduate from HS, as I am still a sophomore. I am just wondering if there is any way i could get more information about the school and all the requirments I'll need to reach before applying. Thanks

      Good morning. I was a previous graduate of radiation therapy and would like to now enter the BHS program. Do I need to just fill out the BHS app for admissions or a general app. I am out of state and assume I will be doing the 2+2 for this. Thanks

      Hi! For some reason formspring didn't notify me of the questions that have been sitting here for weeks ... I am so sorry for the delayed response! To answer your question, yes you will need to apply for admission to both the university and the BHS program. For specific questions regarding the program, I recommend contacting the Allied Health department at allied-health@washburn.edu.

      Hi Hannah, Can you tell me the dates that the Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 courses are offered this summer and how much they cost? When do I apply? Thanks, Sally Iliff

      Hi Sally! I'm sorry for the delayed response. Our summer course schedule have not yet been released. It typically becomes available in March. Our tuition is currently $216/credit hour, so each 3-hour course will be $648. You can apply anytime for admission to the summer semester.       Hi! As far as I know, there are not specific courses required for admission to law school. At Washburn Law, admission is based on prior academic achievement, the LSAT scores, a personal statement and references. I have included a link to a FAQ page for the Law School. It may help answer further questions.

      Hi Hannah, I have applied, and my transcripts have been sent? How long does it take to find out if I have been accepted?

      Are you transferring from another institution or are you a high school senior? This can make a difference, since it changes what we require to make an admissions decision.

      Hannah, my name is Karl Ploeger and I have a foster kid living with me. She is just starting JCCC this fall but she wants to attend Washburn next semester - spring of 2012. Would she be a transfer student or still considered a freshman?

      Hi, Karl. Good question. Since she will most likely have less than 24 hours of college credit, we will consider her to be in between a freshman and a transfer student. When she applies, we will still need high school information (transcripts, ACT scores), but we will also need her JCCC transcript. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions.
