Hey thanks for reading my blog! I recently graduated from my college and i studied interactive web design. I pretty much only had classes related to computer stuff for four straight years. I had classes like HTML, photoshop, dream weaver, illustrator and coding. Honestly we were more on the 'pretty' side of webdesign so we didn't study codes that much. There was a separate part of the school dedicated to just learning pure coding. In our final year we did get classes related to marketing and learning how to do your own finances concerning your work.
Honestly in my opinion webdesign is fabulous. It is really fun learning all the parts necessary to creating a website from scratch. The coding that you learn especially the new HTML 5 are very handy when it comes to online things and editing your own codes in blogs and tumblr for instance. Also it is easy to get money if you know how to create good websites because these days everyone wants a good website.
If university level webdesign/IT is anything like what my school gave prepare to be very independent. It is okay to figure things out on your own but your teachers is great in his field so don't be scared to ask for help even though that teacher might be considered 'mean' or 'lame'. Considering my teachers were a bit older than usual no one wanted to ask them anything. I was the only student to actually ask them questions and i was the only one in my class that succeeded at his final exam in one try.
Anyway I don't know what it is like where you live but here webdesign is still a very 'boyish' thing to do so prepare to be around a lot of guys! It was not a issue to me at all but i know some people might think it is a bit bland to be the only girl around a lot of immature guys lol..
Those are the points that i can think of right now. If there is anything else you really want to know feel free to email me at thislifeisconfusing@gmail.com :) -
Well i can give you this link; http://difluir.com/free-themes/inspiration-wp/ It's the same theme i use for but for wordpress. I think it should be easy to install but i don't know much about wordpress at the moment. Only the header and the colors need to be changed according to your taste :)

Thank you very much! I totally recommend just googling "blogger themes" with something like cute or cool in front of it! You find a lot of different things and very nice ones too. I found mine that way too. Honestly mine was very bland when i found it but since i studied interactive design i can edit my own html!
http://www.bloggerthemes.net/ is the most obvious choice and you can pick what kind of color scheme you want to search by. It's very convenient!
