I'm working at replicating designs by missoni from the 1980's and I can't seen the get the angles in the knit just right. Have you worked with the squiggle/zigzag pattern knitting before?
I haven't, no. Honestly, knitting is one of the areas i'm still really only beginning to learn. BUT i would think it's some sort of slip stitch technique to get the zig zags built into the shape of the rows...I found this project from DROPS, that is going for the missoni look, their instructrions are a little hard to follow, but maube it'll help you out:
