ummmmm that's probably not good!
but what do i know i'm a goody two-shoes and i don't really do drugs much! -
yah sure i'll post it up in a second, it's only photobooth pictures though, so i'm not sure how illustrative they'll be for the hair-cutter.
-
yeah that's a little girly for me, haha. it's for a character. i really rarely make anything for myself, and if i did it would be very practical and boring. i'm a boring dresser.

I haven't, no. Honestly, knitting is one of the areas i'm still really only beginning to learn. BUT i would think it's some sort of slip stitch technique to get the zig zags built into the shape of the rows...I found this project from DROPS, that is going for the missoni look, their instructrions are a little hard to follow, but maube it'll help you out:

I think i was not doing yarn-overs properly before, now I'm starting to get it. But I still like cables better, easier to keep track of!
-
No, it's something I'm still interested in, but honestly, the parts i did were not that well made, and I don't really know where the rest of that yarn went to. I may later pick up the idea again, but I'll probaby start from scratch.

I did, but jeez, if you're only making your art for school, or for a specific show, I dunno if art's the field for you. Now that I'm not working 25 hours a week plus 25 hours of school, and my projects don't have to be done in four weeks, i can actually take my time, push things further.
Not to mention, I do want to go to grad school eventually, and for that I need a strong portfolio of work, stronger than what I have now.
Why would I ever stop? I like what I do, and I only scratched the surface with my senior show. -
...But I'm not a couture house. Couture has a really precise definition that has nothing to do with what I'm doing. Nor do I really like my pieces being seen while on live models (too strong of a context, why I used mannequins and photos, they sort of step back from that)
What you're describing is close enough to a gallery presentation, which is much more appropriate, and closer to what I'm shooting for. -
i don't know, but it's not just random nostalgia, I still have and love all my collections.
-
uh...i don't even know how to answer this one. first of all I'm not french, nor am i based there, so i've no clue why i'd be showing at paris fashion week. also i've made a grand total of two outfits, neither of which are at a point where i'd be confident to sell them, nor could they be reliably produced. it's just me. people that show at fashion weeks tend to have interns, and backers and means of production, none of which i have.
it's not so much about labling at all. i'm not a fashion designer, i have no training or education in fashion at all. i make clothing, but i feel like that's something different entirely.
sorry for the long answer, but i've gotten questions like this before and they're sort of mindboggling. -
Sort of, though I'm in the beginning of shoe-making learning. Also I really don't have any of the correct tools right now, which is a problem
