      Im glad I recieved this question- even though u didnt get to finish it...lol
      The Bible I believe is a book to be taken both literal and figurtively. Now which ever way you interpret it is up to you, but I believe that when you become a real Christian and you pray and read the word daily- you garner the understanding that God wants you to have. Because there is only one right interpretation, and as the body of Christ today we are split bc we have various beliefs concerning the Bible. All I can say is Levi 24;17 speaks of killing someone who has killed another, it says nothing about bad words. As far as the other two verses here is what needs to be known- the central tendant of Christianity is love. Jesus said the two greatest commandments are to 1)Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, body, and spirit-and- 2) Love your nieghbor as you love yourself.
      And we must not forget that this law was written at a time when the Israelites were still giving sacrifices to God regularly, so inorder to please God and gain his favor they had to perform these acts-before Jesus came as the ultimate sacrifice. So laws like that were in place inorder to keep the Israelites obedient bc if you continuously read throughout the Old Testament they many times turned away from God.
      I can honestly tell you that I do not understand everything in the Bible and I never will. But it is my faith that keeps me believing that it is all 100% true, and until I reach heaven where I can ask God what certain parts mean, then I will try to constantly study and find out.
