So sorry for the late response! We basically put on craft events right now, with our next show being Block Party on July 10th! You can see more details on our blog, which by the way is an excellent way to keep tabs on everything Handmade Brigade! http://handmadebrigadeofoc.blogspot.com/ We are looking to have more craft groupy/fun events in the future. Crafting needs to be more social :)

Since Speakeasy is a super small show (ie 20 vendors), we are really looking for innovation! We want to see new products with a fresh perspective. Also due to the show size, we are looking for a wide variety of products so that we don't have any overlapping vendors.

Our oldest member, Jackie, is going to be 29 on April 4th. Yay! She would love some Montana spray paint to celebrate the occasion.

Hey Rachael! We are going to have a ton more shows this year(we're sad about the shop and skate!). We will be having one in April at Detroit Bar- apps should be up soon. But Long Beach would definitely be a good location- we'll have to mull that over! Thanks for the suggestion (4th St is a favorite of mine as well).

Probably for the same reason that Brook's mouth looks like she took a bite out of cookie monster. We made cassette tape cookies in bright colors. Black food coloring gets everywhere!

Sadly, no. :( We were all ready to go on that one and then the lady who owned the roller rink lost her lease. So not only do we miss out on the opportunity to have a fun packed Shop N Skate, but the South Coast roller derby girls had to find somewhere else to skate. We hope to work with the SCRD at a later time, though.
