he is really fantastic as both--but this is a question where I think the one answering it is important, because of course it's highly probable that someone else would feel totally different if they were in my shoes. we work well together. we have really similar tastes a lot of the time and we both work well with a lot of time to ourselves. someone else might not like that! but i'm fine with how much he works because I have my stuff to do, too. we always make time for each other.

also, sometimes he makes pasta with pasta sauce and it is soooo goooooood.

A while back a user was punished for voicing some feminist ideas. They chose the punishment for this user to be stuck to posting in a single thread in FYAD dedicated to mocking that user. That in and of itself is stupid and (in my opinion) juvenile and unnecessary, but not necessarily misogynist. However, the mods also saw fit to assign that user an avatar saying "pissy pussy idiot bitch." A number of people spoke up in QCS, the forum appointed for that purpose, saying that they believed the decision was misogynist and sexist.

The response was essentially "lol."

BSS, the subforum housing the MSPA thread, is usually not a bad forum, but it's housed in SA and I didn't feel comfortable posting in a set of forums where I could potentially be punished for being a feminist. Sure you can evince those same ideals on 4chan and be trashed, but seeing as SA touts itself as a place of discussion, you'd expect it to hold itself to higher standards.

Anyway, I'm banned now, thanks Waterhaul! Sorry if anyone wanted to send me PMs, speak to your mods about it.

(A large part of me believes that they ban anyone who mentions this incident because they kinda feel like they fucked up but they don't have the stones to admit it.)

Awww, thank you so much for the thoughts. It's passed over us already as far as I can tell--we had a lot of wind and rain earlier but the entire net result is that there are some leaves in our yard. There are others who can probably use your good thoughts as well, but thank you again. :)
