As far as I know, it's just a name that my mum and dad both agreed on. And they wanted it to be a bit difference so that's why it's spelt a more unusual way to normal.

In the past I think I've generally just told them, especially if I had a feeling they maybe liked me too? Or it was just obvious and there was no need to tell them.
