This is a good time to reflect on the difference between happiness and fulfilment. One can be happy but unfulfilled and, contrariwise, fulfilled but unhappy.

Are we fooling ourselves by saying or thinking we are fulfilled to comfort ourselves although we are unhappy? But then, it is better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied.
