Wondering what your recommendations would be (books, websites, articles) on the problem of suffering and evil (on either side of the issue).
Good question! I think the problem of evil is what essentially turned me away from my faith. Books: 'God's Problem: How the Bible Fails to Answer Our Most Important Question--Why We Suffer' by Bart Ehrman and 'Evil in Modern Thought' by Susan Neiman. For websites, I like the infidels.org library and also the essays on ebonmusings.org.
