How do you draw without reference? Drawing anything without reference is a very hard for me, am I not creative?
Of course you're creative! Everyone uses references, I use references also, especially if I have no idea what I'm doing. I think it's a good habit, which I should do more often. I'd like to say I don't use references for faces ever becuase I draw them.. all the time (practice practice), but I actually do sometimes, especially if the head is at a weird angle. I tend to use my hands for reference also.
