Seriously? It's okay for a boy to hit, tease, or hurt a girl because he's got a crush? I don't think so. There is no reason to teach a girl that its okay for a boy to hurt her. It is SOOOO not okay in any way shape or form. If we want girls, and ultimately women, to value themselves and to know they are worth while, we have to stop teaching them that they are "less than". -
I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin. Can't imagine wanting to be inside anyone elses. We all have problems, being someone else wouldn't change that.

I have authored a dog book, and have written three children's manuscripts (that I'm still in the process of editing). So I've already "been there, done that". LOL

Fame is a matter of perspective. Whether a person is "famous" or not depends on which circles you run in.
I image most folks know who Elizabeth May is. She's on my blackberry messenger contact list. Most of the folks I've met or visited with that I would consider to be big names, the average person may or may not know about. As a dog writer and behavior expert I have met a lot of big names (in publishing and tv)... but to those not into dogs they'd probably not be household names. LOL -
My dad and my brother rank right up there. They are both incredible musicians.

I felt most at home on Vancouver Island. I usually feel like an outsider looking in when I'm traveling... but there? It just felt like home. Loved it.
