asked by FormspringTheir smile (or lack thereof). I also pay attention to the their mannerisms and body language. It tells me a lot.

I want to do Asia as a next journey. I'm keeping that in my brain so it's a focus of mine. My life is very day-to-day but the one thing that is current, is my lease (year lease). I am planning on renewing my lease in Boulder, so I definitely am doing another year here. Then again, I'm down, so something may come up or life could change rapidly and I might re-access.
In terms of settling down, I'm sure geographically, I will. I do love Boulder and it's great for families too, but we will have to see. I wish I had one city I knew I wanted to settle down in...but I don't. Sometimes that's scary, sometimes I know it will unfold and nature will take its course. -

In a broad sense, I love people. I like to interact with people, build relationships and create some meaningful interaction through creative outlets. So when I grow up/as I'm growing up I want to continue that aspect. Currently, I'm really happy working at Lijit so although I'm a big picture thinker, I also appreciate being content with where you are.
Specifically, a big dream of mine is to travel the world as a blogging, video blogging food and wine critic/taster. Hehe, combining my love of food, travel, writing and interacting with people would be ideally delicious :) -
Warrior 2 - I will breathe and hold it, feeling the mental and physical strength from that pose always helps me feel centered.
I also love tree pose, because there's a lot of balance involved and I close my eyes to relax. -

Are you for real?
I like that study :)
I have very powerful hands, even though they're very little. I give good massages, can type faster than anyone I know and can even do an octave on the piano ;) -
Absolute favorite are flip-flops. They're comfortable, functional and cute - it means that it's warm outside so I can rock them with jeans or a dress.
In the winter, I love these tall black boots that I always wear - they look like tall, vintage horseback riding boots. I think my favorite footwear would have to be something that is functional, but cute. I love fashion, but also walk to work and downtown all the time so I have to be able to walk without teetering and falling over (in heels, yes, this has happened) :) -
I will preface by saying that I'm 75% Italian and 25% Irish. Straight up. So there's a lot of heat, passion and intensity in me (and my family). However, I'm a Pisces so I try to balance that "go with the flow" part of me, with the genetics ;)
I blogged about this - but I had a friend deceptively take my phone to text a guy she was involved with and subsequently, having issues with. She knew the guy trusted me as a friend and she pretended to be me, to find out information about her. I caught onto it in about 5 minutes (he told me, we were all there) and I immediately confronted her. I believe in being honest with your feelings, but also trying to speak from a place that makes sense. Sometimes when I'm heated, I will just blurt out what I'm thinking and reacting from a place of shock and anger, really gets us nowhere. I took a few minutes to try to calm down, listen to her side, and then I told her how disappointed I was and that I lost trust in her.
I'm not an "enemy" kind of lady. I just don't have enemies and if there is a serious riff between me and someone, I will commit to working it out (if it's worth it to me) but also not fronting by saying "I'm fine," when I'm really not. In short, that means trying to remedy the issue, being upfront and honest while also trying to see if we can work through it, or if we need space and time instead. -
Oh, I am such a book geek. I used to "read" books when I couldn't even read yet (like 3-4 years old) I would sit with books and make noises pretending I was reading. I have the home videos to show it!
With that being said, off the top of my head, these are some favorites:
-The Red Tent
-Judy Blume books
-The Glass Castle
-Memoirs of a Geisha
-To Kill a Mockingbird
-The Big Friendly Giant
-The Lovely Bones
-The Birth of Venus
-The Bhagavad Gita
-Eat, Pray, Love
Whew, okay, that's enough for now. Good question, Sam :) -
Yes, definitely for others to determine but aren't many characteristics we list "about us" to be determined by other people? We can't have an opinion of what we think we are?
And I suppose, to finalize the answer to your question, I have been called by my family, friends and bosses "a charmer," I liked the ring it has so in good humor, list it in my Twitter profile :) -
Totally get what you're saying. Good point. However, I actually didn't coin the phrase. I found this Tribe (http://responsiblehedonism.tribe.net/) and also have read about it in many publications: where pleasure and social responsibility co-exist. I love this idea.
It might not link to you, but to me, I'm Italian and love life, travel, food, friends, family and fashion. That's hedonism. At the same time, giving is at the very pulse of what I live by. I volunteer with multiple organizations, meet with people to help them with their job search and never turn down a charity to donate.
So to me, that is the real co-existence of the two ways of living. A healthy balance. -

Well, my closest friends call me Gracie. Personally, I like it when people come up with nicknames for me. It's endearing and almost, always I will run with it. I love them. So if you're rocking the Gracie, go with it.
I like Miss Boyle but that's only when I call you Mr. Stehle :) -

No way! Never. I love my dimples and the small hands 'aint no thang. They still work better than most (all size) hands, give amazing massages and type faster than anyone I know (average 100 wpm).

I have a few ideas and really, in a broad sense, my favorite first dates have been creative and unique to that person where they show me something about themselves, but also do something to show they care.
One date I went on, was a day of snowboarding. We were active together, sharing something we both loved (he knew and listened), but we could talk (unlike a movie, ick), laugh and be active.
Ideally, my first date involves talking, listening and sharing. This could be a picnic (I love good food) a little romantic and cute, and then doing something we could both share together like a concert, a walk somewhere beautiful and then sharing a glass of wine together.
Now that I think of it, I haven't been on a first date in over a year! -

Love the challenging question!
It would have to be Italy. I'm Italian (mother's family is from Calabria and my father's family is Sicilian). I literally feel enlightened when I'm there. I lived and studied abroad when in college in Florence so I would go back there (for nostalgia sake) and I would go to every single town, county and coast of Italy.
I would drink wine in Tuscany in the vineyards, explore the age-old art in Florence, go to fashion shows in Milan, hike in Cinque Terre, camp at Lake Como, cook with my family along the Mediterranean coast, drink Limoncello along the Amalfi Coast, meditate on the secluded ocean cliffs in Calabria and indulge in the food and history in Rome. Ah, I'm salivating right now. The thing is, I've done (a little) of this, but not completely. I will be going back! It's not just a dream, I will make it a reality and hopefully live there when we obtain our Italian Dual-Citizenship :) -
Ah, the infamous dimples. I never thought about it like that, but it's a likely theory. I like the way you think.
-
Will I ever grow up? ;)
I will get paid to travel, be a food and travel connoisseur and then blog about it with my own TV show. -
Hmm. How do I do just IT, all of IT? :) I think mentally and physically I have a lot of capacity to do things. It can be exhausting but I just try to do a little bit of everything. Maybe some people don't try it or they're not sure how much capacity they have to actually do? Who knows...we're all different.
-
All you gotta do, is ask, then set up a time and I'm in! Ill fit you into the schedule, anytime :)
-
Two Spoons! It's a block from work and correction, it's homemade gelato, the real ice cream ;)
