Candid. I hate it when the toddler poses for the camera. Thanks grandma.

That's a bit of a tough one. So I'll go with a top three. 1) Deciding to jump in and start a family even though we weren't sure we were ready 2) paying an hideously large amount of money for the wedding dress I really wanted and 3) Dropping out of university (yes, really)

Tricky question for an agnostic! But assuming I did believe in a creationist God, I guess the question that I would ask is . . . how did Adam and Eve populate the earth without resorting to rampant incest?

I don't know what a side hug is exactly. But then I'm not a real hugger. I'm far too awkward of a person to be a good hugger. But if I do hug - it's a proper one.

Not at all. If something like that did happen to bother me, it's my own fault for being nosy.

I wish. I'm in Australia making the trip to Texas a little prohibitive. I will be attending the first Australian bloggers conference in March though!

Flying. That way I could escape this god awful heat wave and go somewhere where it's snowing.

iPhone. We have a special relationship. I'm very attached.

Mine. If you consider writing blog posts, responding to comments and tinkering about. But other than that probably twitter, facebook, google reader. And at the moment? The weather channel, because I'm obsessed with how hot I don't want it to be.

Formspring Question of the Day
asked by FormspringThis may surprise you but a week without internet. Nothing comes between me and my shower. Nothing.

Sometimes I'm a bit tired doing it too ;-)
But to be honest (despite my complaints on Twitter) I've barely noticed being pregnant this time around. In part because I'm busy chasing after a toddler, in part because I have an anterior placenta which up until recently was muffling all baby movement and in part because I've been so busy. Other than the initial morning sickness and dealing with the heat lately it's been a very easy pregnancy for me (famous last words?)
As for blogging and being a mum that can be hard. Particularly because up until now I'd been working 20 hours a week and there was a nasty period where I worked 40 hours a week all while looking after a toddler. It would be a lie to say that certain things aren't compromised. The first thing to go is the housework. There are periods where I do the absolute minimum and let everything else go. And I do let the toddler watch more TV than I'm happy with.
But the things that do work are that my daughter being nearly three can participate in most housework type tasks. She can help me do the dishes, or cook lunch or hang out the washing. Which makes a big difference to getting things done. I'm a multi-tasker. I tidy up while playing hide-and-seek, I take photos while watching her play and I have an affair with my iphone while getting to other things.
Blogging is usually reserved for naptime or nighttime. And having a husband who takes the toddler out for big stretches on the weekend helps with getting other projects done.
I think I'll be in for a very rude shock when the baby comes along! Life is a whole lot easier with a toddler! -

Sadly, my favourite shoes are no more. I absolutely wore them into the ground, and if I had to do it all over again I would have taken them to get repaired as soon as they were showing wear and tear.
I had a quick search online to see if I could find something similar to show you and these are as close as I could find: http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/designer-shoes/shellys-rainbow-court-shoe.asp
Although mine were more pink with the stripes more at the toe and heel. But you get the idea. I miss those shoes, they were bright, comfortable (having a decent heel not an absolute skyscraper) and unique.
And I didn't even pick them, my husband bought them for me off ebay. -
Hmmm. I used a translator to work this one out. It says 'good luck to you'. Not really a question. But thanks anyway.
