I believe that a machine can be designed to always beat a human at jeopardy. I'm not sure if Watson was designed to beat a human or be an interesting publicity stunt from IBM.
There are only 4 parts to this machine.
- Inputting the question.
- Searching for the answer.
- Beeping it is first.
- Answer the question.
It only needs to do the first part well to beat a human.
