There's no point in trying to "deconvert" people from religion to atheism. But I do promote atheism to help other atheists come out and speak. Atheism is not idea that spreads, its an idea that comes natural on people. So it's better to help atheists speak out than to try to convert people to atheism
I would prefer to make people critical thinkers and then chose by themselves whether they prefer atheism or religion. -
I don't believe in god for the same reason you don't believe in the other 3 thousand gods proposed by different religions. For the same reason people don't believe in the muslim god, for the same reason muslims don't believe in the christian god.
We atheists just go one god further.
