LOL. I'm a fashion editor and Ferocia's a beauty editor. It's tons of fun but definitely a lot of work at the same time =) xx

Hi there :) I created a post to answer your question. Check it out, and thanks for asking! http://bit.ly/g8Smqx

Hey Tamara, the link didn't work when I went to your site. Is there another url?

The best way that I (Ferocia) have found is to first figure out which part of the beauty biz you want to work in. There's so much to it! After you do this, then it's all about the contacts that you have in your rolodex. Do some research on various organizational networking events that you can attend to meet others. Once you make the right contacts, everything else just falls right into place =)

Hi! Why don't you shoot us an e-mail?: theglamazonsblog@gmail.com
Thank you! xoxo -
Awww thanks! Sigh. We try really hard. Basically, you have to put in a lot of really, really hard work. Set a goal and stick with it. There's no real magic behind any of it, to be honest. We really do love what we do and that helps out the most. If you don't have a passion for whatever it is that you want to pursue in life then you won't make it. Hope that helps and good luck and we hope that all of your dreams come true! xoxo

Hmm...have you tried wetting it before braiding it?! Or you could take the super easy route: purchase a wave iron! You can get 'em at your local beauty supply store. First, straighten your hair and then go over it with the wave iron. You can make it even wavier by braiding it up at night. Don't forget to use a heat protectant spray before you apply any heat to it! (I love FHI Hot Sauce!)

Yes, I secretly want to steal Lebron from her! Haha. Kidding. It was an honest mistake

Yup. I was an English major at Columbia and Ferocia majored in Journalism at the University of Texas. Knowledge is key - learn everything you can about this business. Build relationships with magazine editors and publicists; connections are everything! To get your foot in the door, you can gain experience by interning and freelance writing. Start a blog; it shows that you're an entrepreneur, have an authentic voice and can build a following.
