      In what language do you love in?

      Short answer? I don't know.

      Long answer?

      English is the language I use to reason out. In fact, it is the first language that I learned. I write predominantly in English - and that includes those mushy, cringe-inducing blog entries I post in this LJ. I read stories written in English, including love stories.

      But I speak Filipino too, and I've been writing a lot of stuff in that language lately (blame UP). The best love poems I've ever read so far are written in Filipino - there was one poem we read in Kom that really, really struck me. And some of the best love stories are told in Filipino, too.

      But that isn't how I love, because reasoning out and speaking does not equate to love.

      I don't believe that I use a particular language to love. Love is best expressed not in words, but in actions. And actions transcend language barriers. You don't even have to be able to read, write, or speak in order to love.

      Love is universal.

      And frankly, I would rather express my love through gestures. Haha. :)

      Would you choose love over ethics? Also, what mixed races are your cousins? (LOL just curious).

      it really depends on the situation. but my morals are actually grounded on ethics - if there's someone i really, really like, if it's inappropriate, i won't let the relationship go past friendship (no matter how HARD that is). :)

      two of my cousins are half-british, half-filipino; another one's half-german and half-filipino :D

      How do you feel about interracial relationships? Do you think they result in weird looking children?

      i don't really have any strong opinions about interracial relationships. and no, i don't think their children look weird - some of my cousins are mixed-race AND they look gorgeous. :D
