hmm haven't really been to a speakeasy per se here, but i've heard good things about varnish downtown. otherwise there are speakeasy-style bars that are just as good. one that i'd recommend is writer's room that's at the back of musso & frank (the oldest restaurant in hollywood) and it used to be where scott f. fitzgerald & william faulkner drank back in the day. has a very old school hollywood feel to it and the newly refurbished version preserves the historic charm as well. i hope this is useful!

Without a doubt, Christmas. It's always full of warm, fuzzy moments with family and friends not to mention a surfeit of delish comfort food and sinful indulgences.

i love pumpkin soup and pumpkin custard, which is a thai dessert involving slices of pumpkin filled with a custard made from coconut milk. it's healthy and easy peasy to make.

french toast with lots of maple syrup or chocolate sauce.

More time, because there's always so much to be done and not enough time to do it all.

hi there! thanks for stopping by :)
a couple of reasons -
- i'm usually taking photos and don't take many of myself
- i see my blog more as a space where i can share the things i love or catch my eye or inspire me
- more than anything else, for privacy's sake - i get squeamish at the thought of potential employees and the like poking around, so i prefer to keep it low-key while still choosing to open up parts of my life i'm comfortable sharing.
