hmmmm... that's a good question. and a hard one. i don't lie very much. in fact, growing up, i've had to curb my bluntness, as well as my foot-in-mouth-disease. (although i still have episodes of the latter)
one recent lie that comes to mind would be when asked what i thought of a good friend's newborn baby.
and if you ever seen that seinfeld episode about the "breathtaking" baby, you know exactly what i mean.
the mantra i kept chanting at the time was, "babies are lovely. babies are lovely. babies are lovely." but in my mind, i was like whoa.
fortunately, said baby has grown into her face. -
