hello milkyrose :)
my tip would be to not compare your work to others. i made that mistake and got myself quite depressed thinking that my work would never be good enough. i still think like that now but i have to snap out of it. Take pictures of ideas and things that you love and that you would want to see in a photograph. sit down and brainstorm ideas for shoots and give yourself a few weeks to plan it all. I write down the initial idea at the top of the page and then add notes on location, how i want to acheive the shot, props needed, people in the shoot for example. i give myself plently of time to plan so i dont feel so rushed and pressured.
in regards to editing, a beautiful picture doesnt need to be heavily edited. learn basics by going onto youtube and watching tutorials on how to acheive certain looks. If you want your picture to be really bright and sunny, type that into the search bar and tutorials will pop up all over the place. Serach google also and read forums and websites. everything i know is from researching myself. nothing is impossible to acheive. If it was, then people wouldnt be getting those effects.

my favourite fairytale is hansel and gretal. and i love raspberry ripple ice cream the most :)

hello, oh thank you!
my world is pretty normal. i spend alot of time at home with my 18month old daughter and doing house chorse. the only time i really get to have time to myself anymore is just to do shoots. I do work two days a week also and that is sitting in an office so not pretty atall x -
oh my goodness! thank you so so much. it means alot. x

hello!
we got her highchair for £7 from a charity shop :) and her pram came from a carboot. It was an old fashioned silvercross style one with the chasise frame and then the huge pram on top.
i dont like many retail shops for baby clothes. i love mama and papas but they are so expensive. i normally get Elle's clothes from ebay, charity shops or car boots. Also there is a shop online called etsy.com where you can find beautiful handmade unique clothes.
oh i also love molly n jack by boots. they sometimes have lovely dresses and tights.
i hope that helps. i just do searches on ebay for rompers or dresses or search directly for molly n jack or mama and papas :) x -
hello, do you mean the one of than hanging dresses? i had the sunlight shining into the window and i slightly over exposed the picture to get the dreamy look. i did that in the camera. i then chose a slight creamy colour, made a new layer in photoshop and painted over the picture with that colour from the paint pallette. i then blended the images using "soft light" and i think i changed the opacity until i had the right colour. i then added a very very pale peachy colour and did the same which gave me the tinted colour but that is all i changed. the lightness comes from the light and over exposure x

hello!
i had my camera on a tripod so it didnt move the whole time and positioned myself in three different places. in photoshop, i layered the pictures on top of each other then used a mask layer and painted over where i would be on the picture underneath so i appeared on the top picture. i then added the third picture
underneath the new layer with two of me on and used a mask layer again and painted over where i would be on the underneath picture so i appeared on the top layer.
i hope that makes sense. You cna find tutorials on youtube. here is the one i used to help me :)

hi there,
i dont edit alot. I just boost light and contrast a little. i use photoshop and photoscape but mostly photoscape where i use a fade tool to mute the colours slightly.

hello,
i am not always so kind. I do have thoughts in my head of others when they annoy me or upset me but i hate confrontation so i never ever say anything. i do let people walk over me alot but that is just who i am.
the problem i have is if i am angry at someone who has done something wrong and then they get angry at me for being upset with them, i always end up apologising! it is my downfall in life and is going to cause a problem in the future. i just know it! xx
