i understand your situation right now. sometimes you feel like being with him but somehow you should have make time for your friends too.
i would suggest you go find a job, do voluntary work or join any interest group so that you will not feel lonely. :) and on the same time, you can make new friends.

you can always make new friends since you are not with him anymore. it's never too late to get in touch with your friends. :) creating a new twitter account is good start!
next, create a new fresh facebook acount. post all your happy faces in your album. find your friends who you have lost contact with for 2 years. :)
im really disappointed that he actually deleted your facebook and twitter. it doesnt reflect well on him. what i can say is he being insecured and dominant. in a relationship, both parties should respect each other's personal space.

i may not have that much experience but i can give you some advice. and im not a professional though. :)
well, to ask him whether to choose either you or her is quite tricky because his response may not be sincere. especially he knew that he did something not right.
it's your decision to leave him or not. i can provide you with advices but not solutions. :) if you feel that staying with him will make you happy and worth it, then stay. if you feel otherwise, then leave him. you deserve a man who broke your heart and fix it back again, not a boy who runs and hide.
